Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2014 is the latest version of Bitdefender's popular antivirus engine.
Not only will you get comprehensive antivirus protection, this package ships with a number of added benefits to make surfing the web, shopping and banking online and social networking more secure. There is also a handy USB drive immuniser tool to stop infection from external drives.
Thes 2014 version brings an array of new features and improvements and one such feature is the Wallet. This small and effective password manager handles your passwords as well as website and application logons.
The interface hasnt changed much from the previous edition but it remains as easy to navigate and use as ever.

New features this time start with what Bitdefender are calling their Photon technology, which they claim is "an innovative antivirus technology that accelerates scanning speed by gradually adapting to your PC". We're not yet sure how much extra performance this might offer, but any extra speed gains are fine by us.

Perhaps the most significant practical addition to Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2014 is the Wallet, a capable password manager which manages both your website and application logons.
And a weekly Security Report sums up what's happened in the past seven days, highlights anything you need to do, tells you about unused modules, and more.
What hasn't really changed is the interface, which looks more or less as it did in last year's edition. And that's just fine by us, because for the most part it works well and is very easy to use.
